The first of two giraffe jackets for the boys. These are from a fabulous little Phildar pattern in Tricotez Calin no. 3. I used their Legende yarn, which is a wonderfully soft mix of wool and alpaca. Since the jacket is knitted with a double strand, it will be nice and snuggly warm. The embroidery on the pocket was a first for me as was attaching the neck using backstitch. The boys should grow into these jackets by next fall.
